PUBLISH AND PERISH.インパクトファクターが高いジャーナルに論文が通るかどうかで、研究者は一喜一憂しますが、インパクトファクターの動向が気がかりなのは、雑誌社にとっても同じです。ちなみに、研究分野や雑誌のスコープにより数字の出方がかなり異なるため、分野や性格の違う雑誌同士でインパクトファクターを比較して優劣を論じるのは無意味です。毎年6月にクラリベイト(Clarivate)がJournal Citation Reports (JCR) を発表しています。2019年6月には前年度の集計JCR2018 が発表されます。ClarivateのJCRは契約をしている大学や研究機関しか見ることができないのですが、各雑誌社が多くの場合に自分の雑誌のインパクトファクターを直ちにウェブサイトに掲載するので、最新の数値を雑誌サイトで調べることが簡単にできます。Copyright© 日本の科学と技術 , 2017 All Rights Reserved.2017年の6月に発表されるインパクトファクターは、「2016年のインパクトファクター」です。ややこしいですが、当サイトでは、Nature 40.137(2016)-41.577(2017)のように表示することにします。
